Music: The Bad

One of the things that gets me lately is that I've recently taken to buying CDs and regretting it. You see, I thought that this year I should stop freeloading off other people's music, and do my bit to support the music industry.

It's not that I'm not a careful buyer. Oh no, I discover a singer on YouTube or something like that, and listen to a couple of songs to be sure.

But as soon as I decide I like an artist's sound, and buy the album, I realise that after a while, everything starts to sound the same.

Which frankly, is just sad.

  1. heh. never had a problem with buying cds. always seem to buy the right ones. yep, dont buy a cd for a song. buy it for the album. that's what singers and bands dont do nowadays.

while we can take a song individually, they should be part of a larger piece of work. that was why the beatles were so good. ok, the last sentence was just a personal remark
