A chronicle of nose growth
'...changing the form of one's mission's almost as difficult as changing the shape of one's nose:
they are, each, in the middle of one's face and one's character - one has to begin too far back.'
― Henry James. The Portrait of a Lady.

I wish I were a useful person.
I wish I were more practical. All the stuff I enjoy doing are so useless, like dancing and music and drawing. Why can't I enjoy organising my life, or being knowledgeable about computers and cars and things?
Nothing we ever do is useless, except our doing nothing. Dancing, music, drawing are all art forms, physical manifestation of our imagination. Goodness how many lives they inspire that go on to persevere, spark that next invention, kindle love, or simply just to feel human after a frantic day's work. It is the electricity that drives our human machinery, and not the other way around =)
